Versik 125mg contains Terbinafine, a potent antifungal agent belonging to the allylamine class. It works by inhibiting the enzyme squalene epoxidase, leading to fungal cell membrane disruption and death of the fungal organism.
It is highly effective against dermatophytes — the fungi responsible for skin, hair, and nail infections.
INDICATIONS:
Versik 125mg is indicated for the treatment of fungal infections such as:
- Tinea corporis (ringworm of the body)
- Tinea cruris (jock itch)
- Tinea pedis (athlete’s foot)
- Tinea capitis (scalp infection)
- Onychomycosis (fungal nail infection)
